MOUNTAIN NEMRUT  two of the world centuries ago was a

place where east meets west. The birth of a religion, challenging battles, great joy and sorrows that bear witness to a majestic mountain. 

Adiyaman Nemrut Mountain is now alone with memories of glorious history,  the sky is watching.

Eastern and Western civilizations, 2150 m. height of the intersection point of a great pyramid, the world's eighth wonder of the Nimrod, ten meters height fascinating sculptures, inscriptions of several meters long, is located in the UNESCO world  cultural heritage.

Mount Nemrut, hosted by the giant statues on the tomb and monument, as well as being the world's most spectacular  sunrise and sunset can be observed in the attention. Each year, thousands of people to watch the sunrise and sunset from Nemrut Mountain is the day.

Nemrut Mountain has been declared by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage, together with his work around the Commagene Civilization  is one of the country's major nationalparks. Mt.Nemrud giant statues and the tumulus, Arsameia (Old Castle), New Castle,Karakus Hill and Cendere Bridge National Park is located within the boundaries.

Founded on Health Sciences was established on 12.05.1996 and 12.05.1998  of the University of Gaziantep, Faculty of Arts and was established on 27.06.1987 as the Faculty of Education,

1988 Golbasi Vocational School was established

Besni Vocational School was established on 15.12.1997

Founded in 2003, the Vocational and Technical Education Faculty, Adiyaman, depending on the Harran University School of 16/10/1997 Kahta established in three different academic units of the university (3 faculty, 1 College and Vocational School 4)Law No. 5467 dated March 1, 2006 , March 17, 2006 entered into force upon publication in the Official newspaper  No. 26111 dated Adiyaman University, connected by law.
