Your child has spelling homework DUE EVERY FRIDAY. They should complete 3 choices from their spelling bingo board.

• Worked to perfect our classroom procedures and get to know each other as learners.

• Started our Writer’s Notebooks.

•Started reviewing and building upon the parts of speech.

• Reviewed the writing process.

• Begun prewriting for our first personal narrative.

- Every Tuesday morning from 7:30-7:53.

- Every Wednesday from 3:20 to 4:00. Students must have a ride at 4:00.

*Please do not come to tutorials just because you have nothing else to do. Tutorials are for kids who need extra help!

• A wonderful (and fun!) way for you to keep up with your child’s behavior and effort in class.

You may request a conference with your child’s team of teachers on the sign in sheet in the hall. You may also email any of his or her teachers throughout the year.
