Adding Eligible ELL Students• Check the following on the 313 screen:

•AS400 Screen 615 for Active ELL students (LY) should have Program Code(PGM) 130 only for core subjects

(Language Arts / Reading / Math/ Social Studies / History, Science) and other allowable subjects including Intensive Reading, Intensive Math,

and Developmental English.

•If an ELL student is receiving ESE services, the appropriate ESE program code should be used. ESE codes supersede ELL codes

on the 615 screen.

•A complete listing of AS400 program codes can be found by selecting F4 on the 615 screen Program (PGM) column.

•Please refer to the chart below to enter the correct Instructional Model code (Column I):

REQUIRED Annual Meetings / Reevaluation

• Active ELL students 4+ years based on DEUSS date must have annual meeting.

• Annual meeting should be 30 days prior to DEUSS anniversary or by OCTOBER 2 if DEUSS falls within first two weeks of school.

• ELL PLAN dates should be updated annually and coded on the 706 screen (PLAN).
