Miss Mullaney’s Challenge

The Alphabet Game! Can you find a

word for each category beginning with

each of the letters of the alphabet? Have

a go and see how far you can get -

without asking Google or Alexa!! You

could play in family teams and if you

complete the challenge why not set

some new categories of your own?

YOUR newsletter!

Hello children! We hope you are all happy and well. Isn’t it strange not being at

school every day? We all miss seeing you and your families and we know some days it

can be quite hard staying indoors but we hope you are finding lots of things to do and

helping your parents and carers around the home. We will be sending you weekly

newsletters where there will be some news from your teachers, as well as some fun

activities for you to try at home. We really hope you enjoy it and we cant wait to see

you sometime soon. Keep being amazing!

Home Learning

You have all worked so hard this year and we don’t

want that to stop, so make sure you keep looking at

the website for some activities that your teachers

are preparing for you each week. Your parents and

carers can help you find it under the curriculum tab

and then by clicking ’home learning’. You don’t have

to work all day but try and complete some activities

each day to help keep your mind busy and to help you continue with your learning.

Maybe you could teach your family something new too! If you find any of the work

too hard, don’t worry, just do what you can and then maybe read a book, practice

your times tables or do something like creating a comic strip, whatever you enjoy!

Caught Reading

Your teachers are still spending some time

at school looking after key worker children.

These are the children whose parents and

carers are working hard to help keep us all

safe and well while we are staying indoors.

Today, Mr Hart and Miss Mullaney were in

school working and took a little time to

relax and read a good book. They made

sure they stayed at least 2 metres apart

and followed all the rules for social distancing. Here they are enjoying the books they

normally read on a Friday at 3pm! Mr Hart and Miss Mullaney are missing seeing you

all and can’t wait to see you very soon.

Time to relax!

We know many of you LOVE David Walliams. He has been

sharing some stories on his website which you may like to

listen to while you are at home. It’s a great time to close your

eyes, relax and be entertained by this wonderful author!
