Community groups are advised that applications are being called for the following funding programmes. Application forms are available on the Council website at www.wdrc.qld.gov.au and from Customer Service Centres.

Local Community Festival and Events Grant and Major Events Grant: applications close 5pm Tuesday 4 March 2014 for events beginning mid May 2014.

Community Support Programme: applications close 5pm Monday 31 March 2014 for services and activities in the financial year of 1/07/2014 to 30/06/2015.

Minor Grants Programme: applications close 5pm Tuesday 1 April 2014 for projects beginning mid May 2014.

Other funding programmes are open throughout the year and include the In Kind Assistance Programme, Sporting Assistance Programme and Public Liability Reimsursement Scheme. Information for these programmes and application forms are available on the Council website under Online Payments and Services/eGrants.
