The Greatest Journey

"...and I will be his God and he shall be My son."

Do you have a favorite place you love to visit or see,

a place that has special meaning for

You?

Why Is that?

It is because those places are where you met someone

or something which impacted your life!

Every Life Journey Has Three

Components

A Beginning & an End

The Places Along the Way

A Final Destination

1 “Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from

your father’s house, To a land that I will show

you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless

you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will

curse him who curses you;

And in you all the families of the earth

shall be blessed.” 4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him.

And Abram was seventy-five…

…years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai

his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that

they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran,

and they departed to go to the land…

…of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. 6 Abram

passed through the land to the place of

Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh.

And the Canaanites were then in the land.”

Genesis 12:1-6

Places Can Become Dangerous

“Places are only Holy and meaningful because of who

was encountered in that space. Places become significant, even Holy,

when they mediate persons where they are created by relationship”

Heaven is Full of Relationship!

“And I heard a loud voice from heaven

saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is

with men, and He will dwell with them, and

they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away

every tear from their eyes;

…there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor

crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have

passed away. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” Revelation 21:3-4,7
