EXAM TIMETABLE

Civitas
Break All exams will take place in the Sports Hall
with the exception of French (M02/S06),
German (M01/S05) and Spanish (M01/M02)
Pupils will meet in Civitas groups in the
morning. Their study bases will then be by
year group and house.
• During exam week, pupils will come it at normal times but
there will be no normal lessons and the timetable will be
very different.
• Most exams will take place in the Sports Hall. When not in
an exam or a revision session, pupils will be in Civitas groups
or independent study sessions, where they will be able to
prepare for their next exam in a supportive environment.
• Pupils will also have two extended sessions of Games to
ensure a healthy balance between their studies and physical
activity.

Key Facts
1. Pupils will walk in small groups with
other pupils of similar ability (behaviour
pending). The PE team and HoHs are
working with Mr Truman to decide
groups.
2. Pupils should wear casual sporting
clothes which they don’t mind getting
dirty! They should wear walking shoes
or strong, comfortable trainers.
3. Pupils can bring their own packed lunch
(but school packed lunches will also be
available if requested).
4. The £21/ £13 (FSM) is to cover the cost
of the coach transport to Brighton.

your child can speak to him during the school day) with any
queries.
Encourage your child to speak to the current year 9s as well
– they had a great time last year and really challenged
themselves to succeed.
