the University network to

the Internet network since

27 July 1992.

Accordingly, Chulalongkorn

University is the first

institution in Thailand that

connects to the internet

information highway.

state of the art infrastructure

thanks to Global Development

Learning Network Project (CU-

GDLN) initiated by World

Bank.

Officially opened on 21 June

2000, CU-GDLN is the first

World Bank’s Distance

Learning Center in the Asia -

Pacific region, along with the

one in Singapore.

• Many airlines have direct flight to Bangkok.

• Connection from airport to inner Bangkok is

designated hotels to conference site.

Accommodation

• Although the university is surrounded by

several good hotels, some with special

rate will be short-listed.

• Apart from arranged social programs, one
