About JiansingAbout Jiansing Strictly speaking, Jiansing junior high school is a boys’ school. There are forty-eight classes in the school. (We have almost 1500 students, aged from 13-15) In the school, the girls are the minority. Now there are just fewer than one hundred girl students in the school.

taking part in this project. There are thirty-three students in this class. But, there are only three girls. Chinese is main language but we also learn English.

The school administrative sectors are in this historical building. It was built during the Japanese occupation in Taiwan 50 years ago. It was also Tainan City Hall when Taiwan became independent. It’s the oldest building in our school.

The PlaygroundThe Playground

There are four basketball courts, two badminton fields, a nice track, a baseball hitting field, and a big stage. We also have an indoor stadium where we can play badminton.

The traditional Chinese drum club is one of the best clubs in our school. In this picture, they were giving a performance at the Confucius Temple in Tainan.

The third graders worshiped Confucius before taking the Senior High School Entrance Exam. Look! They were serious. By doing so, Confucius will bless them for the important exam.

Scouts in our school took part in the World Jamboree Camping in the UK. It was very fun and interesting. They learned a lot in the World Jamboree Camping. We are proud of them.

• There are also lots of famous baseball players who graduated from our school. For example, Chien-Ming Wang and Hong-Chih Kuo, both of them are excellent pitchers in the US now.

•The Japanese Junior baseball team visited our school and had baseball games with the school baseball team at our school.

• Rice is our traditional main food; it is important in our life. Before, people were too poor to eat rice, but now we eat it everyday.

in the soup. The soup was originated from Japan. It’s also famous food in Taiwan now.

tired, just take a rest. In the break time, everybody will play together in the classrooms , on the playground or read books in the library. Do you want to join us?

It’s black. The sign of school mark is on it. It keeps us warm in winter. You can put some things in the pockets. When you wear it, you’ll like it.
