Tae Kwon Do
The South Suburban YMCA Tae Kwon Do Club offers year-round instruction in this Korean martial art.
The club includes development of self-confidence, integrity and respect, as well as the physical challenges
of this self-defense-oriented martial art. A fun family activity!
Association: The United States Tae Kwon Do Union, which is the only U.S. Tae Kwon Do organization
recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee. Instructor Kirk Green, is a Certified Instructor of the State of
Iowa Black Belt Association, under the direction of Grand Master Yong Chin Pak of Iowa State University.
Ages: For ages 6 and up
When: Winter Session: March 1st – April 21st (8 weeks)
Tues & Thurs: 6:15-6:55 pm – Beginners Class (White Belts)
7:00-7:45 PM – Intermediate (Yellow and Above)
