and grant application• July 2015 – State DNRC funded grant through Renewable

Resource Grant Program• October 2015 – Engineer selected• November 2015 – Survey completed• February 2016 – Notification of USASE grant award

• Montana DNRC - $125,000• US Army Corps of Engineers - $300,000• Bitterroot Conservation District - $10,000• Montana FWP - $47,500• Irrigators - $50,000

• December 2015 – today – Preliminary design• Today – Meet with interested persons• March 2016 – Permitting• April 2016 – Final design• June 2016 – Bidding • October 2016 - Construction

• Eliminates hydraulic roller• Recreators can cross dam at any point • Varying slopes over dam• Historic crossing location is less steep
