A special telephone meeting of the SFA Board of Regents was called to order on Monday,
February 10, 2014, at 2:07 p.m. by Chair Steve McCarty.

Board Members Scott Coleman and Matt Logan were unavailable for the meeting.

Board Order 14-13
Upon motion by Regent Alders, seconded by Regent Ware, with Regents Alders, Garrett,
Henderson and Ware voting aye and Regents Nelson, Schaefer and Todd voting nay, the Board
of Regents approved Logo #3 as presented by Richards Carlberg to be the primary logo of the
university, with Logo #4 to be used as an optional version when advisable for printing purposes.
Board Order 14-14
Upon motion by Regent Todd, seconded by Regent Ware, with all members voting aye, the
Board of Regents approved the media and creative design concept as presented by Richards
Carlberg.
At 2:40 p.m. the board chair called for an executive session to consider the following items:
Considerations of Individual Personnel Matters Relating to Appointment, Employment, Evaluation,
Assignment, Duties, Discipline, or Dismissal of an Officer or Employee, including but not limited to
the executive director of alumni relations, vice presidents and the president. (551.074)
Consultation with Attorney Regarding Legal Advice or Pending and/or Contemplated Litigation or
Settlement Offers, including by not limited to potential environmental liability (551.071)
The board meeting returned to open session at 3:00 p.m. and adjourned with no further action.
