Every Friday, attendance tickets are counted and the winning team gets a mark on our attendance chart. At the end of each half term members of the winning team are awarded an extra playtime.

PUNCTUALITY
It is important that as well as having a good attendance rate, your child arrives at school on time. Missing parts of lessons can affect academic progress and stability.
Late comers will receive Punctuality letters reminding them of the effects of being late for school.

ST. JOSEPH’S TOP TABLE- A reward for using manners, sitting properly at the table, not shouting.
We didn’t have a ‘Top Table’ in the last week of term as we had lots of party lunches. School Lunches: If your child would like a school dinner anytime during the week- even just one day- then let your child’s class teacher know in the morning and pay via Parent Pay. St. Joseph’s Free Range Eggs: Our hens are now laying! If you would like to buy some eggs they are available each morning on the yard - £1 for 6. Money raised will go into the ‘Chicken Food Budget!’ Primary and Nursery Admissions 2016: We will be holding Open Day tours on Monday 11th January and Friday 15th January at 10am and 2 pm. If you or Anyone that you know would like to visit school with a view to your child starting at St. Joseph’s; then please contact the office. If your child is starting school in September 2016; you must apply online by 15th January 2016; please inform school also so that we can forward any literature from school to you. Also, if your child will be 3 next September and you would like them to start at our pre-school in September 2016, please go the School Office to complete an interest form this is also on our website; although if we are oversubscribed we must follow the Admissions Policy which is also on our website. St. Joseph’s Parish Mass: On Thursday 14th January, Y6 will be leading a Parish Mass in the School Hall at 9.30am. Everyone is welcome. LE CLUB Français Our FRENCH Clubs will resume on Monday 11th January for 10 weeks in the Spring Term. These clubs take place at lunchtime on Mondays for 30 minutes after lunch at 12.30-1.00 and the fees remain at £3.95, per session payable termly. If children would like to join the club they must first have lunch and then come straight to French Club. A FREE TRIAL is available for children new to these clubs. Membership fee for new members is now £11.95 and children receive a CD with songbook and colourful handbook and it includes free access to our internet gamezone. Discounts for Siblings who wish to learn French together. Please contact Chris Abalain if you would like more information on this club, or if you would like to put your child’s name down for a free trial, or you may also look out for the flyer from Le Club Français. Click on the icon and it will take you to the calendar or scan the QR code. School Council Christmas Coffee morning & Christmas Jumper Day: Thank you for supporting the School Council’s
coffee morning and our Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children. We raised £100 for Save the Children and £171.20 for the School Council.
