What is the National Guard Bureau Office of Small Business Programs?
The National Guard is a non-Federal organizationreporting to the Governor through The Adjutant General (TAG) in each State and Territory
Founded December 13, 1636 by order of the General Counsel of Massachusetts
The National Guard Bureau (NGB) is a Federal Activity within the Department Of Defense (DOD)
Established to be a Liaison between the DOD and theindividual State Militia Units (National Guards)

The National Guard Bureau Mission is to ensure Ready,Reliable, Essential and Available reserve components insupport of the Active Army and the Active Air Force
