The present Calamity Fund, now known as the National
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (NDRRM
Fund), is appropriated under the annual General
Appropriations Act.
UTILIZATION:
• Disaster risk reduction or mitigation• Prevention and preparedness activities • Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction• Other work services related to natural or human induced
calamities

Not less than five percent (5%) of the estimated revenue…, but not
limited to the following:
• Pre-disaster preparedness programs
• Purchase of life-saving equipment
• Supplies and medicines
• Post-disaster activities
• Payment of premiums on calamity insurance
