WHO WE ARE?
SCAM SPA, founded in 1995 andlocated in Induno Olona (Varese) Italy,
is a highly specialized manufacturer of
o-road automove soluons.
SCAM provides a wide range of light
taccal vehicles for civil (re ghng,
civil protecon, road maintenance,
leisure) and customized military
applicaons (support vehicles,
ambulances, personal carriers,
logiscs, radio command, radiocommunicaon) up to armoured.
Nowadays more than 2.000 vehicles
are performing in military missions,
security and peace keeping operaons
in Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi
Arabia, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo,
Lebanon, and are working regularly
under hardest condions.

REDUCTION AND TRANSFER CASE

vehicle is moving to obtain half
gears to emphasize the vehicles
characteriscs. The second reducon
gear must be engaged while the
vehicle in not running and is mainly
used for o-road missions.
FRONT AXLE
Rigid live (bridge type) axle beam casing
with le/right hand steering wheels and
tracons through the swivel housing and
centre located dierenal case which
can be fully mechanical locked by means
of hydraulic force.
Single wheel hubs with hydraulic brake
disc and sliding calipers
REAR AXLE
Rigid live (bridge type) axle beam casing
with wheels tracons through the
central located dierenal case whichcan be fully mechanical locked by means
of hydraulic force.
Single wheel hubs with drum brakes and
manual hand brake.
FRAME
The chassis- longitudinal frame type
made from two double C central
members with highly resistance material.
Equipped with sets of cross members to
allowed maximum torsion in each driving
condions.
SUSPENSIONS
Car-type highly exible longitudinal
parabolic leaf springs at both axles, with
double-acng telescopic shock absorbers
and stabilizer torsion bars.
