Role of Schools in Prevention and Control

of Dengue fever

Why is it important to involve schools in dengue control?

• Students are the most receptive to health messages and bring about the desired behaviour change in their own homes and their living environment

• No. of students= No. of households• School Going Aedes are the most

dangerous – even if one student comes to school with dengue virus, it will spread explosively to different areas
