The mission of the Mandalorian Mercs is 3 fold:

1.To celebrate and share our love for Star Wars, and the Mandalorian characters and culture

2.To support and enhance costume diversity.

3.To help local communities through charity work and volunteerism.

Started in March of 2007, Mandalorian Mercs has quickly grown into the 3rd largest themed Star Wars® costume club in the world.

Currently Mandalorian Mercs consists of over 750 members, in 51 chapters covering 12 countries around the world.

Mandalorian Mercs is recognized by Lucasfilm LTD as the “Elite Mandalorian Costume Group”.

MMCC operates on a Tiered membership system. You must be 18 years of age to become a Tier 2 or Tier 3 member (Auxiliary or Official Member)

Official Members must own a set of approved Mandalorian armor, and submit an application for acceptance into the MMCC as an “Official Member”.

Mandalorian Mercs’ primary function is to bring together Star Wars ™ fans, more specifically Mandalorian fans.

Mandalorian Mercs Clans, Squads, and Members regularly attend events such as: Store openings, baseball games, charity fund-raisers, conventions, parades, movie screenings, etc.

Mandalorian Mercs divide armor up into 5 major categories, 4 of which we classify as “eras”:

•Early (era)•Crusader (era)•Neo-Crusader (era)•Modern (era)•Canon (non-era)

Each of the 4 “eras” contain specific basic armor requirements that ALL potential member’s armor must possess to be accepted as an official member of the Mandalorian Mercs .

Mandalorian Mercs is the only international Star Wars® costume club that is primarily non-canon oriented. We allow each member to customize the armor they wear to their liking within the club’s requirements and quality standards. Seeing two Mandalorian Mercs members with the same armor and paint scheme is a rare event. We thrive on creativity, and a feeling of independence within the costume community.

Mandalorian Mercs also accepts “Canon Characters” or characters from the Star Wars© movies, books, comics and The Clone Wars television series. However we approve these costumes based off of reference standards shared also by the 501st Legion.

Mandalorian Mercs shares it’s canon resources with other Star Wars ™ costume organizations to help create better requirements that all groups can use in a standardized format.

In May 2013, MMCC opened it’s official club for children under age 18. “Verd’ika Corps” or “Little Warrior Corps” was designed to give a spot-light to children who love Mandalorian characters. It was designed as a safe place for children to showcase their costumes online, and feel like part of the larger Mandalorian Mercs organization.

There is no charge for joining the Verd’ika Corps, we only ask that your child own a Mandalorian-based costume.

You can find the Corps at: www.verdikacorps.com

Initiated in late 2010, the Brigades focus on popular “Profession Specific” costume configurations in the MMCC.Completely optional, the Brigades allow Official Members to choose a profession that best suits their MMCC character, and configure their costume accordingly.Currently there are 6 non-canon professions, and 4 canon professions.
