This workshop was based at Kinloch Lodge forty minutes drive from Queenstown. An area nestled amongst the magnificent Humbolt and Richardson Mountain Range. Excursions were made into the Paradise valley and the Routeburn valley.

On the morning of our departure from Queenstown a huge rock the size of a small house fell on the road to Glenorchy.Water taxis’s were ordered to ferry us around the blockage from Wilson Bay and Rat Point. Two mini vans from Kinloch Lodge became our transport for the weekend.

The first early morning shoot at the lakes edge, was a fantastic mix of frost, mist, silhouettes and abstract forms. This was followed by “middle earth’ forests, clean cold streams, multi coloured mushrooms and South Island Robins.

This book is testament to very good photography in very good company.
