Encyclopedia

Students need to look at the article within the encyclopedia for authors name. They will be at the end of an article.

Textbooks/Media Sources

Most students know how to find the authors of a book or resource from their textbook or media center.

Internet

This is the hardest for students to find, mainly because they don’t know how to find good sites for research-based information.Here is a good activity to help students learn how to evaluate web sites... can be done in small groups where they can discuss their Internet use and Web sites that they find useful for conducting research.
