Powerpoint Games in the LOTE ClassroomPresenter: Marcela Mason

This workshop will focus on learning to use a variety of PowerPoint games to practice and review the materials covered in your LOTE classes. The games can be adapted to any level as well as any language. All games presented will be able to be used by anyone who has access to a projector and a Screen and their use can be enhanced if a Smart board is used. A huge variety of games from Jeopardy to The weakest link and more will be presented. We will go over how to edit templates to use for your own LOTE Classes. Examples will be presented in both Spanish and French.

I Have been a LOTE teacher for 19 years now. Curently am teaching Spanish and French for grades 8-11. I love using technology in my class and helping others learn by the use of a variety of different technology tools. I hope this wiki can help many of you with your classrooms and give you useful tools to incorporate and expand your daily lessons. I would welcome and new ideas and suggestions that you all could also bring to me so please ,feel free to share any new ideas and information.In my spare time ( when I have any!! I love to sew and do crafts- rubberstamping and scrapbooking are particularly interesting to me, but almost any craft will do,LOL).
