• CommonAreaPhone(forOn-PremiseandOnline):TheVVXphonescannowbeconfigured/administeredasCommonAreaPhone(CAP)usingtheweb-UItool,settingaconfigurationparameterorbyusingthephones’userinterface(UI).Benefit:CommonAreaPhonescannowbeadministeredattheend-pointinsteadoftheserverincreasingproductivityandsavestimefortheITmanager.

• HotDesking:HotDeskingenablestheendusertosignontoaphoneasaguest.ThiscanbedoneforphoneswithregularSfBaccountsor

FederalInformationProcessingStandardComplianceSupport(FIPS140-2):PolycomUCSoftwareallowstheenduser’sphonetoworkseamlesslywhenusingtheFederalInformationProcessingStandard(FIPS140-2)compliantcryptography.AnadministratorcanconfigurethephonetousetheFIPS 140-2 compliant cryptography using the device.sec.TLS.FIPS.enabled configuration parameter.
