The Process • Unit receives access code

• Go to the council Web site http://www.pikespeakbsa.org – In the menu, select ‘Unit Information’ in the left column, then ‘Annual

Unit Rechartering’ on the next page

• Direct link: http://www.pikespeakbsa.org/Units/Recharter/Online-Internet-Unit-Rechartering

• Complete the rechartering process

• Print charter application, then obtain necessary signatures

• Bring charter application, member applications, Adult YPT cards for new applicants and money to the turn in night – Turn in at Roundtable

– Due two Roundtables after pick up (e.g. December if picked up in October)

– Early turn in is highly encouraged (e.g. November if picked up in October)

• NOTE: If you are re-chartering multiple units that typically promote to each other (e.g. Pack, Troop, Team and/or Crew).

– Be sure to START with the “YOUNGEST” age group unit, THEN progress in age group order through each unit.

2013 Re-charter timeline:

• LDS Units: Packets available in October, due no later than the December Roundtable

• For Jamboree, Ute or Frontier traditional units: Packets available in November, due no later than the January Roundtable

• For High Plains traditional units: Packets available in December, due no later than the February Roundtable.
