Carnivoresponges!SpongesofthefamilyCladorhizidaeareespeciallyunusualinthattheytypicallyfeedbycapturinganddiges<ngwholeanimals.That'sright,thesespongesareactuallycarnivorous!TheycapturesmallcrustaceanswiththeirspiculeswhichactlikeVelcrowhentheycomeincontactwiththecrustaceanexoskeletons.Cellsthenmigratearoundthehelplesspreyanddiges<ontakesplaceextracellularly.
