Scholars lectures (MMM)

Our member Mr. B. Renganathan has delivered a lecture on fiber optic sensors in MMM (Monthly membership meet).

Optics ExpoWe organized Optics Expo jointly with OSA for school students. Nearly eighty students

from three schools had participated. We demonstrated the principles of optics and

conducted competitions to motivate them towards optics.

Nearly 150 students of both UG and PG from 15 colleges had participated. This

program was collaborated with OSA.

Our secretary Mr. T. Pandiarajan was awarded 600$ under student contingency

travel grant to attend SPIE OPTICS+PHOTONICS 2011 conference and he

presented one oral and two posters in the conference.
