My eProfile 2014

Tell us about yourself & what YOU want for the future

MY eProfile 2014

In response to reforms in the Code of Practice (implementation Sept. 2014), Action For Kids has developed a digital version of the Education, Health

and Care Plan.

This eProfile will be used by students to represent their views to professionals, influence decision-making processes and regain more control over

life-defining choices. As a platform for self-representation the eProfile will focus on the young person’s aspirations for education, employment and

community engagement.

The eProfile training programme includes multimedia activities designed to support students in making choices, recording their views and

uploading materials onto their individual E-Plans. An eProfile template will be provided to students and teachers, featuring categories and

subcategories relevant to the EHCP (see next page).
