From the Principal . . . . . . . . . . . Welcome back to another term of learning. I hope all our school community had a restful and enjoyable
school break. We have a very busy term ahead, so please keep an eye on the school’s calendar for events that
are coming up, also we will endeavour to alert the community through our Facebook page.
The Partners in Learning parent Feedback Survey
Over the next few weeks, our school will be participating in the Partners in Learning parent survey, another
part of the Tell Them From Me suite of surveys (student, teacher and parent surveys) on student engagement.
The survey asks parents and carers questions about different factors that are known to impact on student
wellbeing and engagement.
Running this survey will help our school understand parents’ and carers’ perspectives on their child’s
experience at school. These include: communication between parents/carers and staff, activities and practices
at home and parent/carer views on the school's support of learning and behaviour. This valuable feedback will
help our school make practical improvements.
The survey is conducted entirely online at home or on public computers. The survey will typically take 15
minutes or less to complete and is completely confidential. The parent survey will be conducted between 26th
August and 27th October. Participating in the survey is entirely voluntary, however your responses are
very much appreciated.
Please log into: http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/nps1 to complete the survey. If you do not have a computer
at home or have not got access to the internet, please see the office as we can organise a computer at school.
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.

Welcome back for our second term of Little Learners!
We had a fantastic last week of Term 3. On Tuesday students enjoyed time in the Infants play area and completing a variety of literacy
and numeracy activities inside.
On Wednesday we celebrated Zachary’s 5th birthday, as well as Mel’s birthday which was on the Thursday, with some cupcakes.
Students also had their first visit to the school canteen and did a great job lining up and ordering their food. It was an overwhelming
choice for many! We will schedule another visit this term so they can continue to develop their confidence in visiting the canteen in
preparation for next year.
Thank you to our awesome Year 5 helpers, Kelsi and Chelsea, who were especially helpful during our canteen visit. Congratulations
to Laquarn and Elsie who received the Super Bee Awards for the week.
As the weather warms up please ensure your child has a water bottle and hat packed each day.
Looking forward to another fun and busy term ahead!
