EXPERIENCECampus Banner + DesignClemson, SC | Jan. 2020-Present
Worked directly with client needs and ensured all designs met Clemson University’s brand guidelines. As the direct graphic design intern for Clemson University’s Campus Life department, I met with clients every other week, input projects into job entry database, generated quotes, created displays for university campaigns and events, templates for social media posts, designed official university logos, and assisted in the production room.
• I am a Scientist Logo-Official logo I created for Clemson University’s department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Managment. The “I am a Scientist” program was for children, so I thuroughly enjoyed making this logo as lighthearted as possible while still including branding guidelines.
• Fall Family Weekend Logo-Logo to be reused annually to advertise Clemson University’s Fall Family Weekend. My goal for this logo was to incorporate an iconic staple on campus recognizable to Clemson families, alumni, and fans everywhere. I made a simple silhouette of the Carillon Gardens Bell while including a subtle background of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Charleston Cotton ExchangeCharleston, SC | May 2019-Aug. 2019
Worked as a summer graphic design intern creating logos, designs for merchandise, and putting proofs together for clients. I assisted with production such as screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery. This company also allowed me to physically produce several freelance projects of mine in which I designed t-shirts and printed them for customers who came directly to me.
• U.S. Army Charlie Company T-Shirts-Designed graphics and chose t-shirt color to produce for families with U.S. Army soliders in boot camp.
• St. Johns Fire Department-Created t-shirt design for firefighters to wear while on shift. • Sabal & Oak- Created multiple designs for both adult and youth t-shirts to be sold at Sabal & Oak Boutique in Edisto Beach, SC.
Summer Camp Counselor at James Island County ParkCharleston, SC | Summer of 2016, 2017, and 2018
Worked with children ages 6-9 enabling them to try new activities, practice team building, and become knowledgable of their outdoor environement. Several activities included nature walks, biking, crabbing, fishing, arts and crafts, team building games, and performing skits for parents.
