Children on Mission Hopefully by now you have completed some of the mission projects on your “Children on Mission” cards. If not, it’s time to get started. You have three weeks from today to complete as many of the mission projects as possible. Cards are due on April 7th. You can turn in your card during Sunday School or at the Children’s Easter party. Children who participate will be recognized in worship on Palm Sunday, April 14th.
Our next communal lunch is after worship on Sunday, April 14. Mark your calendars to bring a dish to share and enjoy conversation and fun around the lunch tables.
We welcome Kinley Cesario as the newest member of our church. She comes by profession of faith in Jesus Christ and baptism. Her parents are Craig and Stephanie. Kinley as your church family, we rejoice with you,
we will pray for you and we will walk with you in the way of Jesus.
Remember our search committee for a Minister of Children as they seek the person God has chosen for us. Committee members are Leah Sweatt (chair), Sarah Helms, Julie Ward, Richard Chaney, Aliceson Miller and Mark Gurley.
Our study Tortured for Christ continues tonight at 6:00pm in the new assembly room (room 103).
The Adult 1 Sunday School class will resume on Sunday, March 24th. We will begin a study titled “The Minor Prophets: God still Speaks”. Theologian James Montgomery Boice comments on how the Minor
Prophets dramatize the character of God as few other books do: “They highlight God’s sovereignty...holiness…[and} love...In the Minor
Prophets, we will hear the voice of God speaking to us in a fresh way...as individuals and as a spiritual fellowship in the Church.” Join us as we take a look at the section of the Bible many of us may not
have ever considered.

Welcome to Kannapolis First Baptist Church! We are so grateful to God for leading you to this place of worship today.
If you are a guest, be sure to sign our fellowship pads as they are shared during the worship time or our guest book in the foyer
of the church as you leave so that we might have the opportunity to thank you personally for worshipping with us today.
“A Mountain and A Moon” Psalm 27:1-2, 4-6, 13-14
A TRUTH Psalm 27 begins with eight words that lead to one truth… David knew trouble on a first-name basis… David’s words remind us of a powerful reality. God’s antidote or response to fear is light. A.W. Tozer…
A TRUST
The word for stronghold comes from an expression that means “a beach-head.” D-day… So the Lord is your stronghold… Verses 2-3… A survey…
A RETREAT Verses 4-5… A simple question… But God offers a retreat to you… Four things… Ancient Greeks had a race… A rocket bound for the moon…
A HOPE
Verses 13-14… Tozer again… If you win Powerball or Mega Millions… We can see the goodness of the Lord all around us if we take a look. An expert in human languages...
