What are they?

Possessive adjectives express ownership of things and people.

Por ejemplo: ◦Es mi dinero. (It’s my money.)

◦Ellos son sus maestros. (Those are his teachers.)

LikeLike other Spanish adjectives, possessive adjectives always agree in GENDERGENDER and sometimes NUMBER NUMBER with the noun they describe.

Ejemplo: las chicas bonitas la mujer bonita

UnlikeUnlike other Spanish adjectives, however, possessive adjectives go directly before the noun they describe.

Es mi gata. (It’s my cat.)
