ActivityAsk pupils to choose an answer for each dinosaur – either j’aime or je n’aime pas. Count in French how many like each one to find out which one is most popular. Pupils could be asked to justify their answers in English. Extend task by counting Je n’aime pas answers.

Listen to the French pronunciation of the dinosaur names compared with the English pronunciation. Ask pupils to

identify where it differs e.g. Dinosaure (dee-no) and Dinosaur (di-no).

Ask them to see if they can then pronounce the words following the activity correctly before listening to them to

check.
