June 07, 2020 - The Most Holy Trinity
Good Morning, (Evening - etc.), (Pause) Welcome to St. Dominic’s.
Brothers and sisters,
it is with great joy that we gather on this Solemnity of the Holy Trinity.
Today we recall the love shared among Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Opening Song
June 07, 2020 - The Most Holy Trinity
Presider: In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Amen)
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God
and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you always.
And with your Spirit
Penitential Rite
In Baptism, we are adopted into the life of God’s family:
Father, Son, and Spirit. Let us rejoice and give thanks to our Triune God.
Lord Jesus, you are the only Son of the eternal Father: Lord, have mercy.
Lord Jesus, the world is saved through your death and resurrection:
Christ, have mercy.
Lord Jesus, you are the source of everlasting life: Lord, have mercy
May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins,
and bring us to everlasting life. (All Amen.)
Gloria:
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord God, heavenly King, O God almighty Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,
you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;
you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
Collect:
God our Father, who by sending into the world
the Word of truth and the Spirit of sanctification
made know to the human race your wondrous mystery,
grant us, we pray, that in professing the true faith,
we may acknowledge the Trinity of eternal glory
and adore the Unity, powerful in majesty.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Liturgy of the Word
First Reading Exodus 34:4b-6,8-9
A Reading from the book of Exodus
Early in the morning Moses went up Mount Sinai
as the LORD had commanded him,
taking along the two stone tablets.
Having come down in a cloud, the LORD stood with Moses there
and proclaimed his name, "LORD."
Thus the LORD passed before him and cried out,
"The LORD, the LORD, a merciful and gracious God,
slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity."
Moses at once bowed down to the ground in worship.
Then he said, "If I find favor with you, O Lord,
do come along in our company.
This is indeed a stiff-necked people; yet pardon our wickedness and sins,
and receive us as your own."
The word of the Lord. R. Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm DN 3:52, 53, 54, 55, 56
R. (52b) Glory and praise for ever!
Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our fathers,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever;
And blessed is your holy and glorious name,
praiseworthy and exalted above all for all ages. R. Glory and praise for ever!
Blessed are you in the temple of your holy glory,
praiseworthy and glorious above all forever. R. Glory and praise for ever!
Blessed are you on the throne of your kingdom,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever. R. Glory and praise for ever!
Blessed are you who look into the depths
from your throne upon the cherubim,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever. R. Glory and praise for ever!
Second Reading 2 Corinthians 13:11-13
A Reading from the second Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians
Brothers and sisters, rejoice.
Mend your ways, encourage one another,
agree with one another, live in peace,
and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Greet one another with a holy kiss.
All the holy ones greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
The word of the Lord. R. /Thanks be to God.
Gospel Acclamation
Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.
Gospel John 3:16-18
The Lord be with you. R. And with your spirit.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John R. Glory to you, O Lord.
God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
The Gospel of the Lord. R. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

your Spirit to nurture a Stewardship way of life marked by faith-filled prayer, service to our

COMMUNION RITE
The Lord’s Prayer
Lamb of God
For those of you who are at home we have put up a Spiritual Communion Prayer on the
website and in the liturgy aid.
Para aquellos de ustedes que están en sus casas tenemos una Oración Espiritual en el sitio
web y en el folleto de la Liturgia.
Act of Spiritual Communion:
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramental,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
Creo, Jesús mío, que estás real y verdaderamente en el cielo
y en el Santísimo Sacramento del Altar
Te amo sobre todas las cosas y deseo ardientemente recibirte dentro de mi alma;
