THE SPANISH STUDENTS COOK

ITALIAN DINNER

Spaghetti Carbonara

RECIPE

Ingredients:• 125 gm pancetta or streaky bacon chopped • 40 gm grated Parmesan cheese • 40 gm grated Pecorino cheese • 3 large eggs• 2 garlic cloves peeled and left whole• Olive oil • Salt and pepper

First we prepare all the ingredients

How to prepare1. Bring a big pot of water to boil. When it starts boiling put in the

spaghetti.

2. Grate both cheese and mix them.

3. Cut the bacon in small pieces.

4. Beat the eggs.

5. Mix the 2 grated cheese together and add to the beaten eggs. Set aside some cheese for the garnishing.

6. Put olive oil in a pan. Take the garlic and let it brown, then remove.

7. Then drop bacon in it . Let bacon fry.

8. When spaghetti are ready, ( it’s important they are al dente) drain the water.

9. Add the mixture of cheese and eggs, the oil with bacon and stir it

well.

And here they are!!!!

And we are ready to try them!!!
