minister in Alabama.

Laws about black and white people using the buses were very strict.

Some white people got

very angry….

Lots of people joined Martin on a march in Alabama.

Martin made a famous speech to the people.

“Free at last…”

Then the President,

John F Kennedy

was shot and killed.

Martin Luther King went to Memphis.

James Earl Rayran away to

England.

People all over the world were very sad.
