ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSORS
• No cable required, ideal for very long cable run requirements
• Compensation for barometric pressure required from additional sensor (Baro Sensor)
• Errors associated with deriving stage compounding accuracies from two sensors
RELATIVE (VENTED) PRESSURE SENSOR
• No compensation for barometric pressure required, not reliant on additional centre
• More accurate, in particular in low pressure (stage) applications
• Water ingress via vented sensor will destroy sensor.
• Global Water Wet-wet water level sensor eliminates vent tube concerns.

Self-contained water level dataloggers work well for many users because the depth of deployment is not dependent on the length of the cable.
For example, if you need to drop the water level datalogger over the side of a bridge, or off a high dock, or down a deep well hole where the static water level is many feet below surface, the water level datalogger's 15' sensor range is great but you might have to have 200 feet of cable to get to the water level measurement point.

The WL500 Well Level Sounder is a portable instrument used to accurately measure water levels in monitoring wells and bore holes.
When the water level sounder's probe assembly makes contact with the surface of the water, a bright LED glows and a beeper sounds on the reel.

WL550 Oil Water Interface Meter can be used in numerous applications including measuring oil and water levels in monitoring wells, detecting tank leakage and obtaining accurate measurements of water levels.
The oil water interface probes use infra-red refraction to detect hydrocarbons and conductivity to detect water.
When the WL550 Oil Water Interface Meter is lowered down a well and contacts the product layer, a solid tone and green light alarm is activated on the reel. When the probe detects water, the tone begins to oscillate and the light changes to red.

The WL650 Sonic Water Level Meter allows to measure crooked wells, wells with cascading water, partially cased rock wells, wells with submersible pumps, capped or uncapped wells, wells with pipes and wires inside.
As long as the obstructions take up no more than half of the bore area the meter will not suffer any loss of accuracy. The sonic water level meter should only be used on wells under 10 inches in diameter as the accuracy decreases with larger diameter wells.
