It manufactures non sterile dosage forms like tablets, capsules, liquid, orals and
topical ointment and also manufactured sterile injection.
The company is promoted by a group of comprising of technocrats Mr. B. N.
Thakore and Mr. N.J. Patel have combined experience of 55 years in pharmaceutical
industry.
The plant was designed by M/s Klenzaids, appointed as a project consultant. The
inject able projection commenced on March 1995.
This company is world’s health organization, goods manufacturing process and Food
Drugs Associated approved pharmaceutical units.

The company provides medicines at free of cost to all its employees against prescription. Further it supplies free medicines to the victims of natural calamities as and when any social organization conducts medical comps, the company provides, on demand, free medicines to these organizations
TRAINING TO STUDENTS
The company provides students of MBA, D.Pharm & B.Pharm in house training From 1 to 3 months On the other hand, students of B.SC. (MICROBIOLOGY) are allowed to carry out their project work of about 6 months duration within the company in both the above cases the related department heads give special attention to the students and also provides certificate when training completed
TRAINING TO STAFF & WORKERS
Company provides training to all its staff members on topics like training & development ,handling of fire exitinguishers ,health and hygiene time management productivity improvement energy & water saving etc. company employee also attend seminar for more knowledge from expert outsiders. For workers training on health and hygiene and technical training are provided.

The company conducts welfare activities like celebration of company’s Anniversary, Picnic get together etc and also celebrates with due respect and colour all Indian festivals and send off of left employee.

A general hospital of 20 bed facility for patients under the name of Navjeevan hospital at village kinkhlod tal brosad. Anand is also supported by Norris by way of financial assistance as well as supply of medicines of different kinds

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
In the rapidly changing technology. It is necessary to provide opportunity to technical staff, in
particular by encouraging them to attend lectures & programs by professional organizations. In-house
training programs supported by audio-visuals are arranged for all the staff & workmen to cover subject
related to GMP, Health Hygiene & safety. Both engineer and production staff members are encouraged
to visit equipment manufacturer’s facilities to acquaint themselves with newer machines & joy in
resolving usage problems.
During employment, including training, job related training & trouble shooting training are
provided by depart, department heads. Training evaluation is made of all the personnel & records are

performance appraisal form. Immediate boss or supervisor divides performance appraisal system of
organization into two categories, forms & appraisal.

Immediate boss or supervisor periodically evaluates the performances of permanent as well as
contract workers through performance appraisal forms & appraisal.
2) For administrative staff:
The performance appraisal of staff is much more different & detailed than that of workers
here 360i.e,.all level performance appraisal is conducted regularly or when there is some scope of

PROCESS FOR TABLET
As per the requirement of the product, the formulation plan is made
According to formulation plan necessary Raw material is dispensing and also primary and
secondary packing material dispensing.
After this material send to the granulation department
Then materials send to manufacturing tank. In this tank material is mixed and water is added in
material for making paste.
Now paste is gathered in large plate and sends in a machine for heating & cooling.
Then slowly add the paste in machine when it becomes wet lump and after this it is dried in FBD
machine.
After this all raw material again mix in rapid mixer grinder and lubricant is added in material for
15 minutes.
After this compression process takes place in which they finally make tablets and if necessary
than they do coating and polishing.
Then the tablets are checked by Q.C department and if all the specifications & criteria are
satisfied then packing process take place.
After packing once more Q.C. department check packing and approved it.
All furnished product than store in bounded storeroom in right conditions

After this the base is field in caps and after this polishing take place.
Then the capsules are checked by Q.C. department and if all the specification & criteria are
satisfied then packing process take place.

As per the order the products are dispatch

Raw materials & finished goods are classified as FSN system i.e. Fast Moving, Slow Moving, & Non

Materials & Finished goods are acquired 30 days before the production & Finished goods are managed
for 45 days.

Firstly store department purchase the raw material and then the quality assurance
department inspects raw material. After the approval of QA department store department stores raw

PROCESS FOR INJECTABLE
When the Raw material comes in the stores so, they inspect it & then they give approved green
label to Raw material & also check or inspect the primary packing material.
With the help of the workers & the machine they wash the vials or ampoules for cleaning the
dust & bacteria from vial & ampoule.
Then give heat to the vial or ampoule for killing the bacteria.
Dispensing the Raw material as per their requirement.
Compounding the Raw material by giving heat.
Then filtered the sterilized inject able liquid so, the liquid is safe from bacteria.
By the help of machine & workers they filled the sterilized injectable liquid into vials or
ampoules & hang the vials & ampoules for, checking whether there will be no crack or not & if
they find any problems in vials or ampoules then they reject.
After terminal sterilization leak test, they do optical checking with the help of workers in white
& black colour & see whether there is any particles in the inject able liquid.
After finishing all the activities, with the help of the machine & workers they start labeling &
packing of the finished products.
Then they pack the final products in the boxes.
Then store the boxes in the Bounded Store Room.
As per the order they dispatch the products.

Production department need all utility like Steam, Distilled Water, Vacuum, Compress air and
Chilled water as per their requirement and Engineering department supply all this utility for smooth
running of production.
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality refers to the sum of attributes or properties that describes a product. These are generally
expressed in terms of specific product characteristic such as length, colour, width etc.
Those activates which assure that quality creation is performed in such a manner that the
resulting product will in fact perform its initiated function. When used in this , quality control can be
divided in to two fundamental viz., assurances that the product characteristic selected will achieve that ,
items produced contain the specified characteristic .
All active Inactive materials are sampled analyzed and approved or rejected by the Quality
control.
All in process, semi finished products are analyzed and released by quality control.
Calibration and validation of equipment and process are performed by quality control regularly.
Stability study of products is continuously monitored.
Market complaints and annual product review are evaluated.

ANALYSIS OF RATIOS
Liquidity Ratios
In the liquidity ratio current ratio shows those ratios is ideal but when see the company’s current assets
sundry debtors are high, loans & advances are high. So the company has to reduce the debtors& the
company is also liberal with debtors.
Form the comparison of 2005-2006, 2006-2007 it is clear that the ratio goes high. In Acid test ideal
ratio is 0.50:1 but in this case the liquid asset is less then Quick Assets.
In the Debt equity ratio External Equities is more than Internal Equities. But the ratio is decreased form
the year 2005-06 to 2006-07 the company has to increase the Insider equities or decreased the External
Equities.
Profitability Ratios
Gross Profit Ratio tells bad condition of the company because Gross profit Ratio is in negative. But it
is decreased from 2005-2006 to 2006-2007.
Net Profit Ratio is in positive. It tells the company’s good condition but the ratio is increased & also
shows good condition of company from the year 2005-06 to 2006-07.
Return on capital Employed Ratio is positive in the both year 2005-06 and 2006-2007 but the
percentage is very lower. So it is not so good ratio.
Return on Shareholder’s fund ratio is also positive in the year 2005-06 and 2006-2007 but the
percentage is very lower so, for the company it is the good position.
Activity Ratio
For the stock turn over ratio it is increased from the year 2005-06 to 2006-07 so the inventory-holding
period is decreased from the year 2005-06 to 2006-07 by 15days.
The percentage of Operating Ratio is high it is bad for company because is stated inefficiency of company. In this case the percentage is so high but it is quite increased in the year 2006-07 so its show bad condition of company

TYPE’S OF STORES, MATERIAL HANDLING IN STORES
The company has good facility of store room .It has one normal temperature store room in which raw materials of tablets, capsules, liquid, and ointment are stored.Also company has one air condition storeroom in which raw materials of indictable liquid are store.
They use trolley and drums for handling raw materials
STORES PROCEDURE ( Receipt, storage, issue) and raw material coding system :
First of all the materials are received from outside by stores person and signed the formalities by responsible person.
Then cleaning the materials and weighting the materials by responsible person and also check that the materials are as per specifications and requirements.
After verification they store the raw material in the room.
Then the Q.C. person takes the materials and check that the materials are as per the specification or not.
So if the materials are per specifications then they stick the approved materials label on the materials otherwise if the material is numbers as per the specification then they stick the rejected material label on the materials.
Rejected materials stores in rejected area and approved materials stores in release area.
Then they store the approved materials as per their code and temperature wise by store person.
As per the formulation order of the product the raw materials issue by store person for dispensing.
MATERIAL CODING SYSTEMNo specific coding system is used for coding the materials. They code the raw materials as per the companies who give the raw material for making their products. Generally they start coding for raw material from 100001. For packing materials they give 200001 and finished products they give start 600001.
STOCK VERIFICATION.
As it has being earlier explained through the Production dept. that the IMS is being maintained by the stores and purchase department, concerned with the Raw materials, packaging materials, Miscellaneous materials, and finished good’s etc. The level and quantity of materials maintained as inventory depends upon past experience and the production target. Both the raw materials and finished goods are classified as non moving and moving inventories the material not used for six months are headed as non moving .
Thus including the above discussed process the stock verification is also being implemented or say done in the company on monthly basis.

2) FRIABILITY TEST
PURPOSE

Rotate the timer knob clockwise & bring to the calibrate position for 100 rotation.
Start the instrument& measure the timer knob returns to zero position.
No rotation should be in range of 98 -100 in 4minutes timer is deviation from

Dispatch procedure:
1. The company receives order for various parties and confirms them according to the favorable
terms and condition with the parties.
2. The received orders are scrutinized to confirms availability of required products.
3. The orders details i.e. the details of required products are into the “Order Execution Form”.
4. After scrutiny out the order execution forms refilled completely which includes batch number,
expiry date of the products and quality dispatched.
5. All the products are packed in corrugated boxes. On each box, packing slop showing the details
of products included will be inserted and its duplicate copy will be kept the company as a proof.
6. Free samples are given to party as per their requirement. The details of samples dispatch are
entered in separate channels provided for that.
7. On completion of packing necessary central excise invoice is prepared as per the price list
already given to the parties including excise duty at 8%.
8. After preparation on invoice the same is checked thoroughly for any mistake and the company’s
authorized person sings the invoices.
9. For supplies outside Gujarat, form 402 as per Gujarat sales tax act 1959 is followed duly filled.
10. On completion of al the process the exit get pass of the company is prepared.
