-­‐  small,  yellowish-­‐white  cylindrical  body  -­‐  mesentery:  mesorchium  -­‐  point  of  aCachment:  parietal  peritoneum  covering  the  ventral  surface  of  the  kidney  

Female  Reproduc-ve  System  (FROG)  

Ovary  

-­‐  saccular  organ  characterized  in  mature  specimens  by  the  presence  of  black  and  white  granules  (eggs).    

-­‐  sexually  immature  frogs:  ovaries  are  the  lobulated  organs  just  behind  the  fat  bodies.  

-­‐  mesentery:  mesovarium.  

Oviduct  

-­‐  two  whi-sh  tubes  with  fleshy  walls,  close  to  the  middorsal  line.  

-­‐  mesentery:  mesotubarium  (difficult  to  locate  in  immature  specimens)  

-­‐  os-um  (anterior  opening)  -­‐  uterus  (enlarged  por-on  of  oviduct)    

Cloaca
