Sun & ValentinesReading- identifying setting in a story, rhyming words, adjectives, opposites, plural nouns, asking questions about things unknown and stories, and ending sounds in words.Writing-writing how-to stories by using steps, capitalizing at the beginning of each sentence, stretching words out to hear more sounds (vowels), spacing between words, and punctuation.Math- Recognizing, writing, and counting numbers 0-20, counting objects in scattered configurations, counting on from any given number, comparing numbers and objects as greater, less than, equal, and composing simple shapes to form larger shapes.Science- investigating living and non-living organisms, sun and spaceFine Motor- scissor grip/cutting & pencil grip (please work on these nightly)Sight Words- as, by, come (review: big, so, & how)Word Family- -ag (ex. cop, hop, mop, pop,…)
