Ezekiel 34

True and False ShepherdsWoe unto the false shepherds of Israel who

feed, not the flock, but themselves (Ezek. 34:1-6; Jer. 23:1-2).

Judgment falls upon the false and feckless shepherds of Israel (Ezek. 34:7-10; cf. Jer. 23:25-32).

True and False ShepherdsGod promises restoration, redemption and

rest for the flock (Ezek. 34:11-16; cf. Jer. 23:3-4).

My flock, I will judge between one sheep and another: the faithful and false, the fat and lean, the strong and weak (Ezek. 34:17-22; cf. Jer. 25:33-38).

True and False ShepherdsI will set over them My servant David, the

One Shepherd, the Prince (Ezek. 34:23-24; cf. 37:24-25).

I will make a Covenant of Peace with them, offering divine protection and provision (Ezek. 34:25-31; cf. 37:26-28).
