After choosing the right type of gasket sheet suitable for your application, this is processed by stamping or cutting, obtaining the desired flat gasket.

Graphitesheetsaremanufacturedbylamination,fromexpandedgraphitewithmin98%purityandcanbereinforced(GrafexI980PI)orwithoutanyinserts(GrafexI980SR).

AramidandmineralfibresmixturesgasketsheetsboundwithNBRelastomers(AF153,AF202etc)aredesignedforawiderangeofapplications.Sheetsareavailable,alsowithperforatedstainlesssteelreinforcementorgraphitedonbothsides.

PTFEsheets(polytetrafluoroethylene)InordertoimproveitsmechanicalcharacteristicstheTeflonmaybeadditivetedwithglass,graphite,bronze,micaetc.

GRAFEXGASKETS

Flatgaskets areobtainedbystampingorcuttingthegasketsheetssuitablefortheapplication,accordingtothenationalandinternationalnorms,orinaccordancetotheinternalnormsoftheclient.Flatgasketscanalsobemanufacturedwithinnerand/orouterjacketedstainlesssteelrings.Materialssuchassteel,stainlesssteel,aluminium,coppercanbecutinordertoobtainmetalflatgaskets.

GrafoilGasketsaremanufacturedfromexpandedgraphiteinavarietyofconfigurationsanddimensionsinaccordancetotheuserdemands.Thegrafoilgasketsaredesignedandmanufactureddependingonpressure,temperatureandthetypeofsealedmedium.Thecrosssectionsofthegasketscanbesquare,rectangular,trapezoidal,triangularoranyotherconfigurationaccordingtotheconcernedapplication.

Corrugated gaskets (Grafex® CG) and grooved gaskets (Grafex® GG)aremanufacturedfromametallicsupportring(havingvariousthicknessesdependingonthetypeCGorGG)coveredwithgraphite,PTFEormica,accordingtotheapplication.

BRAIDEDPACKINGSFor many years the main material used for these braided packings was asbestos. Over time, because of its adverse effects on health, asbestos was replaced with materials such as graphite, Teflon, aramid fibres and other mineral and vegetal fibres, as well as combinations of them.

Although more expensive than asbestos, the new materials proved to be more economical. The lifetime of non-asbestos seals is far greater than the one of the asbestos, thus avoiding technological breaks for replacing the seal.

OthergraphiteproductsGRAFEX®corrugatedstripappropriateforon-siteinterventionsforequipmentmaintenancewithouthavingtostoptheentiresystem

GraphitePasteGA120usedfordrylubricationofmetallicsurfacessubjecttoheavyworkingconditions.

Ceramicproductsusedmainlyforstaticapplicationsforinsulationandsealingatelevatedtemperatures.Theyareprovidedascords,sleeves,boards,fabricsandtapesaccordingtotheconcernedapplication.

Rubberproducts(Viton,NBR,EPDMetc.)aremanufacturedbyinjectionmethods,vulcanizationandcuttingoutofrubbersheets,dependingonconfiguration.

Electricalinsulatingkitsaremanufacturedfromelectricalinsulatingmaterialsforprotectingtheflangefromgalvaniccorrosionandelectrostaticcharging.

Frictionliningsforindustrialapplications.Manufacturedfromhighestqualitynon-asbestosmaterialssothattheyensureoperationathighparameters.

Adhesivesandothersealsforbindingvarioustypesofrubber,fixingthegasketontheflange,sealingpaste,on-sitemanufacturingofgasketsfromelastomerswithvulcanizationatambienttemperature.
