The Enneagram is a System for better understanding ourselves and others
It is a method to more accurately identify your own personal patterns
A methodology to access ways to achieve our potential faster
Why Am I Talking About This?
Because if we can’t master ourselves we can’t master our business.
Because we hide our negative character traits from ourselves through psychological defence mechanisms or buffers
With this knowledge we can see what changes we need to make in our personal lives and business lives
We might understand our relationships & customers better

Always being busy-dealing with Stress

Type 3 Dilemma
Threes were the children who were prized for their achievements.
They remember coming home from school and being asked about how well they had done, rather than how they felt about their day.
Performance and image were rewarded, rather than emotional connections or a deep involvement in other people’s lives.
The idea was to work hard for recognition, to take on leadership roles, and to win.
Important to avoid failure, because only winners were worthy of love.
Type 3: Further Dilemma
If they have a Type 2 Wing
If a Type 3 has a Type 2 Wing, they will be unable to say NO to more work
They will tend to forget to raise prices and forget how good they are at what they do.
Type Three: Preoccupations
Love comes from what you achieve, rather than for who you are.
Selective attention to whatever is positive.
Tuning out of negatives.
Emotions are suspended while the job gets done.
Confusion between one’s real self and characteristics appropriate to one’s role or job.
