QRIS in each state may have existing funding and staffing to support developmental screening in early care and

education settingsPlus

HMG systems may have the capacity to process screenings and to connect at-risk families to services

Equals

Leveraging QRIS and HMG resources is a systems change that creates a more effective and efficient developmental screening

and referral system for children in child care settings
