Ofthe82sitesparticipating,49%arefamilychildcarehomes,achievedthroughacollaborativepartnershipwiththeElDoradoCountyLibraryengagingprovidersincurriculumdevelopmentanddevelopmentalscreeningsonamonthlybasis(40/82).

Young children being cared for in Family Child Care homes were not increasing the percentage of children receiving developmental screening like we saw happen in center-based programs. Family Child Care providers needed different type of support.
