I am so disappointed that we have had to postpone our K‐6
Athle cs Carnival due to the wet weather. Mr Stanley and staff had
a great day planned; we look forward to our carnival next term
(Wednesday 31st July– Week 2).
I am sure many of you would have been very pleased on Monday
a ernoon upon receiving your child's Semester 1 report. Most
children have achieved their Semester 1 goals and are to be very,
very proud of themselves. It is great reading about the kindness,
politeness and enthusiasm shown by our wonderful students (I do
see and feel it every day at school too, its just nice to read about it
some mes…!) Please remember, if your child’s report had an
appointment slip a ached to it, the class teacher would very much
like to discuss the contents of the report with you and discuss the
area/s your child will need to focus on next semester. Please
contact the office to arrange a mutually agreeable me to meet.
Today is Mrs Gammone’s final day at our school. I am sure you
would all agree, Mrs Gammone has been an outstanding asset at
our school and she has done an incredible job as a valued member
of our schools execu ve team. Mrs Gammone’s leadership,
compassionate nature, knowledge and skills have been so very
valued by all on staff at our school. Thank you Jemima for all you
have done for us at CEPS; you will be sorely missed!
We congratulate Mrs Barbara Clark whom has accepted Mrs
Gammone’s leadership posi on at our school pending the normal
10 day appeal period. Mrs Clark comes highly recommended to us
and herself has had an outstanding leadership career thus far, with
her most recent role being Instruc onal Leader at Bringelly PS. I
thank Melissa Bee (parent rep) and Michelle Munro (staff rep) for
their great work as panel members for this posi on.
Finally, I wish you all a very happy break. Take the me to do what
it is you love and enjoy some warm weather somewhere. I look
forward to a great term ahead!

Captain Disposition Over the past few weeks, you may have heard students coming home and speaking about their new favourite superhero, or even singing a song
about him‐ Captain Disposition Captain Disposi on is the centre of a learner quali es program we are running at school called 'Legendary Learners'. Students will be learning to develop seven learning disposi ons that will help them become self‐regulated and independent learners. Each fortnight, we will focus on one learning disposi on and teach students how to develop this skill for themselves.
Congratula ons Jarrah A couple of weeks ago, I went to Italy to play soccer in my Juventus team in the Junior World Cup. We played six games; we won four out of the six. The best part was watching the Italy men's team play against the Bosnian team in Allianz stadium in Torino. Wow– Well done Jarrah! This is such a fantas c achievement! We are so very proud of you– Mr Darcey
