Teacher Shout-Outs! Marlie Mobley’s students (CH9) are working

on a project entitled “Eat This ~ Not That.”

Students choose a popular restaurant to research

and create a class presentation by using Prezi or

Power Point, WordCloud, Go Animate,

Flipagram, iMovie, Movie Maker, Venn

Diagram or Booklet!

Jessica Clark’s students (NC9) are working on

designing their own restaurant, restaurant menus

and marketing. They are using internet research,

research and an interior design app, Homestyler!

Basic iPad 101 Training – Learn basic iPad functionality from setting up district emails, using the

app store, search functions, device settings, camera features, and other important aspects of the

device.

Locations: Sycamore Library @3:30 pm and NCHS Library @4:30 pm

Intermediate iPad Training – This training will focus on using the features found on the device to

enhance user efficiency, including Skyward access and usage, creating photo/video files that can be

uploaded to classroom programs (like MBC) and app functions, like Dropbox, Educreations and

ShowMe. Locations: Crowley Middle School Library @4:00 pm and CHS Library @4:30

The Advanced Classroom – Participants will create a full classroom-ready flipped lesson using

the iPad from recording to implementation. Participants will need a class lesson to bring to

training. Locations: JA Hargrave Library @3:30 pm and HF Stevens Room 108 @4:00 pm

Requirements: Please bring your iPad, laptop, and any classroom materials required for the

session.

District-Wide WWW Wednesdays There will be no training held next week, Wednesday, April 2

nd.
