Q.1

Q1-12Q1-12

SOFTWATT software is a program designed for electricity supply companies, distributors, landlords and users authorized to program meters for energy billing. It is designed to confi gure CIRWATT meters and is structured with files to allow several meters to be set with the same confi guration. The program structure consists of several parts to set the different parameters, hourly differences, communications parameters, load curve recording period, input and output confi guration, etc.Sending the confi guration of each of these parameters may be performed partially.

SOFTWATT Software

Tariffs / Contracts

SOFTWATT allows up to three available contracts to be confi gured with the most complex rates. Both the active and the latent contracts may be confi gured (the latter being set with an operating start date).

An annual calendar is set within each contract which is fi xed with the change of the years. There are two types of calendars:

Seasonal calendar: Two types of season are defi ned: winter and summer. The seasonal change coincides with the clocks changing

Period calendar: This works by periods where an hourly profi le is selected for working days and another for weekends. There are 12 periods and 10 hourly profi les

Holidays and special days are selected from the annual calendar to have different profi les to working days. (To be applied to the current year or subsequent years). All profi les are easily and intuitively confi gured. To configure bill closures, a date and time for each month is selected for the equipment to perform an automatic closure. If this option is deactivated the equipment performs no closure.

Sending / Receipt of confi guration

All of the meter’s confi guration is received by indicating the measuring point, the link address and the access password. The parts of the confi guration to be sent may be selected without the need to send it all. (Previously indicate the measuring point, the link address and the writing access password).Sending / receiving the confi guration may be done on site or remotely.

Security

The program allows V·Arious users with passwords to be confi gured. This allows access to different levels of the program. There are two protection levels: Areas where only the writing password is required and areas where the writing password and unsealing the meter are required (setting transformation ratios for example).

Accessories for CIRWATT

The universal optical reader for CIRWATT is indispensable for reading and setting the meter. The CIRWATT (LOC) optical reader does not require any form of power supply and by using a direct connection to a PC serial port (via a DB9), it does not need any form of software for communication.code: Q30301

DIN RTC protector

The DIN-RTC protector is a device designed to protect communication systems transmitting an analogue signal through paired wire. The protector is used for protecting voice transmitting equipment and for industrial control systems, such as energy meters (distance read). The protector earths overvoltages from the communication cable that would otherwise attack the equipment, both between signal lines (earth leakage mode) as well as between lines and PE (common mode). This offers a high degree of protection for the premises.code: Q39911

GSM base station, ideal for communications at points that do not have an analogue line. code: Q30203

RS-232 / 485converter

This converter is ideal for transforming an RS-485 signal (meter) into an RS-232 signal (PC). For applications where the meter and the reading PC are a long distance apart (up to 1200 m). It also has a fl ow control.code: M54020
