MORNING WORSHIP SPEAKER Mike Brooks has served as the Minister for Missions and Evangelism of the Highland Park Church of Christ in Muscle Shoals, Alabama since June, 1999. Prior to taking that position he was Highland Park’s pulpit preacher for seven years. He began preaching in 1967 and has served churches in Kentucky, North Carolina, Missouri, Michigan, and Arkansas. He is a grad-uate of David Lipscomb University and Harding Graduate School of Religion (M.A.R.). Mike and his wife, Brenda, are natives of Decatur, Alabama and have three children and five grandchildren. In addition to more than 47 years as an evangelist, Mike’s ministry has included gospel meetings, radio and television ministries and more than 50 foreign campaigns to the continents of Asia, Africa and South America. His work is currently focused primarily in South Asia, where he directs and teaches at Khulna Bible College in Bangladesh, and holds workshops and seminars in Bangladesh, Nepal and other parts of India. He travels to Asia twice each year, spending just over three months on each campaign. Mike is the author of one book, “IN SEARCH OF PERFECTION: STUDIES FROM JOB”. He has also written numerous articles for religious publications. He is a regular contribu-tor to Forthright, an electronic magazine pro-duced by members of the church (www.Forthright.net), and contributed to the book “STRAIGHT TO THE CROSS” which is a compilation of articles from Forthright.

World Bible School Teachers Needed!
According to the World Bible School home office in Cedar Park, TX, Concord has the highest number of student enrollments through our webpage of any other WBS Connect program! What does that mean? We need more web teachers! Web teachers share the Gospel by providing Bible lessons and inter-acting with their students. As a WBS web teacher, you do not have to have extensive Bible knowledge and the lessons are auto-graded. It is enough to promptly exchange lessons with your students, write encouraging notes and pray on their behalf. The time required is flexible with your own schedule—from half an hour a week to as much as you like. You can share your faith, spread the Good News, tell about Jesus, and fulfill the Great Commission. It’s not hard—do it with us! If interested, drop by the WBS office located by the stairwell and speak with Andy & Jackie Hulsey.
Children’s Prayer and Thanksgiving Corner Macey Campbell - for her uncle Mance Wobbleton. Jack JeBailey - “Thank you for helping my grandparents feel better.” Katherine Hone - “My mom got bit by a flying ant.” “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matt 10:14
