Cells are exposed to environmental stresses and thus possess the stress responses to maintain their

homeostasis. One of those is a formation of stress granules. Stress granule is an aggregation of protein and mRNA that is formed when cells sense stress. Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) mediate the assembly of stress granules. In this study, we aimed to examine the self-assembly mechanism of the IDPs using structural biology methods such as fluorescence polarization assay or HDX-MS (Hydrogen-Deuterium eXchange mass).
