DESCRIPTION

At a young age in your childhood years you start to create what you could say a study of your own. You start to watch and learn from those around you most, such as your parents or guardian. You then try to do the same things such as the way you learn to speak, weather it be Spanish, English, French, or some other language. This is also a great example of how you are by how you were thought.

Nurture

The meaning of nurture is how you are raised or brought up. Being raised this way would not show through your genetics. How you are raised will determine the way you are and the person you become in the future.

Meaning of Nurture

At a young age in your childhood years you start to create what you could say a study of your own. You start to watch and learn from those around you most, such as your parents or guardian. You then try to do the same things such as the way you learn to speak, weather it be Spanish, English, French, or some other language. This is also a great example of how you are by how you were thought.

Behaviors

Many people show the way they were raised through the way they act or behave. Each person usually during their mid-childhood ages begin to form their own lifestyle by the way they are being brought up.

Nurture in Development

Many families or children that are brought u in a low-income household tend to act in certain ways just as those brought up in high-income households. Although this is stereotype, its more true then not as studies have shown.

Surroundings vs. behaviors

B.F. Skinner trained pigeons

He had raised pigeons and taught them to dance, play tennis, and do figure eights.

He is a Harvard psychologists and did this study to prove that human behavior can be continued through animals.

Parenting Influences

How often do you hear of a tiger who adopted piglets, or a gorilla who adopted a kitten? Not very often, as studies show different species adopt just as people do. Take a look at these pictures of different species caring for another animal species

Humans and monkeys share 95% of the same genes but only 10% of their behavior. This means behavior is not dependent on genes
