The following is a list of California species in which Bd has been detected. As more information on the impacts of Bd [to these species] becomes available, we will be adding information to this page. Bd is species-specific in its effects, but even within a species, environmental factors most likely play a large role in the outcome of infection. Thus Bd infection may have very different effects on amphibians across the geographic distributional range of each species.
